Born and raised in Cincinnati Mary has always enjoyed taking pictures. She got her first SLR camera as a gift from her step-brother Austin (R.I.P. <3) in high school. Before then it was just disposable cameras or regular point and shoots.The camera her step-brother gave her was a manual Minolta and she learned how to develop her own black and white film in the dark room while in high school. Sadly, this camera was stolen from her apartment beginning of 08'. But now she has joined the digital age after getting her own digital SLR, a Nikon D40, for her one of birthdays a few months after losing her old Minolta. Photography has always been a hobby of hers and she hopes someday she can take it to the next level as a way of earning extra money. Her own 'children' consist of two dogs and two cats. She just moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in Dec. 10' and plans to establish residency before starting into Marine Biology.
